Limit refers to boundaries and restrictions. Limitarianism is a relatively new development in theories of justice. This approach focuses on analyzing the harmful effects of excessive wealth and exploring political actions to prevent these harms. There are strong ecological and social reasons to limit wealth, which should not be overridden by economic considerations.
