"Beauty is not defined by wealth or financial resources, but by creativity and love," asserts Anna Heringer, a sentiment that resonates deeply with contemporary ideals. This is substantiated by the full lecture halls, prestigious accolades such as the Aga Khan Award in 2007 and the OBEL AWARD in 2020, and exhibitions at renowned institutions like MoMA, MAM São Paulo, and the Venice Biennale, alongside her 2017 TED Talk invitation. In her book Form Follows Love, Heringer, in collaboration with author Dominique Gauzin-Müller, chronicles her architectural journey, reflecting on her academic background, formative experiences in a workshop with Martin Rauch, her work in the Global South, and her ongoing projects in the Global North. As such, the conversation not only invites a retrospective glance but also offers a forward-thinking perspective on the architecture of the future.
