Our modern idea of freedom is challenged by the dramatic consequences of climate change. This freedom has been closely connected to the idea of mobility – mostly based on fossil energy. Will climate change have an impact on our idea of freedom? If so, in what way? Could a new concept of freedom become a vital aspect of a post-crabon society?
Felix Heidenreich gives insights about our project „Future Freedoms“.
As part of the lecture series "Science-Fiction for the Future: Science and Speculation for Future Designs" at the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning at the University of Stuttgart.
