What does digital sovereignty mean? How can we prevent algorithmic discrimination? What perspectives should we consider when using AI? How can society engage with research on artificial intelligence?
Join the dialog in a relaxed café atmosphere! We’ll serve delicious coffee and other drinks. Since the 18th century, caffeinated creativity and engaging discussions have gone hand in hand. Let’s talk about AI in the spirit of continuing the enlightenment ideals of autonomy and participation.
Admission is free, and no prior knowledge or registration is needed. Reservations can be made at: Hannes Haßmann.
Citizens' Council on AI and Freedom
The AI Café Debate is organized by the Citizens' Council "AI and Freedom". Since September, 40 randomly selected citizens from Baden-Württemberg have been meeting to explore how science and society can collaboratively shape research on artificial intelligence. Concluding recommendations will be submitted to the Ministry of Science, Research and Arts at the end of the year.
